Abstract: AGUDO MARVIN A. and ROZUL REMER CARLO S. Development of a Four channel Configuration Anti-Lock Braking System Instructional Trainer. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Industrial Technology, major of Automotive Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Danielito R. Escano The four channel anti-lock braking system is the latest type of braking system in the modern vehicle nowadays. It consists of Electronic Control Unit, module and four sensors. This system provide protection to the driver to prevent the locking and skidding of the wheel while braking. The major objective of the study was to design, construct and develop a four-channel anti-lock braking system instructional trainer. This will provide more knowledge and skills to the automotive students on how to troubleshoot the anti- lock braking system, specifically on how to familiarize the components of anti-lock braking system. This prototype will be very important to the student when use as a training equipment when taking a National Certificate Ill. The authors used angular bar to assemble the frame. First, the authors measure the angular bar using a tape measure. The authors cut the angular bar accurately to prevent the excess size of the angular bar. After cutting the angular bar with the exact size and dimension of 48"x28"x21". The authors used welding machine and welding rod to weld the cut angular bar based on their measure and to form correct the design project. After forming the design project, the authors used a drill to create a hole to put the bolt and place the components of the anti-lock braking system. The study was proven and tested by the evaluators, instructors and students that is efficient and use for functionality. The statement was based on the results of the evaluation which got an overall mean of 4.61 corresponding to degree level of outstanding. So, the design project was proven in good condition and all the operation, components and parts of the four-channel anti-lock braking system was normally functioning.
