Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Sheryl S. Ersando. The study was conducted in selected cities namely Bacoor City, Dasmarinas City, and General Trias City in Cavite. The study aimed to: (1) determine the development programs and projects in selected cities of Cavite from year 2015 to 2018; (2) determine the budget allocation and sources of fund for the implementation of development programs and projects in selected cities of Cavite; (3) determine the status of the development programs and projects in selected cities of Cavite. Secondary data were gathered from selected cities regarding the respective development programs and projects covering the period from 2015-2018. Descriptive method was used in the presentation and discussion of the results. The study found that there were different development programs that are being implemented in selected cities in Cavite. Bacoor City and Dasmarinas City had the highest number of Development programs and projects being implemented for its constituents. The most common sources of fund for the implementation of the programs in different cities covered by the study were 20 percent Development fund, Municipal Fund, General fund. Among the Development programs, Infrastructure programs got the highest share from all the municipalities covered with an average of p 1 9,517,267.23. Meanwhile, agriculture got the lowest budget allocation from the selected municipalities with the total amount of P 74,856,402.775. Bacoor City got the highest amount needed in the programs and projects with (P 1,393,905,154.3) followed by the Dasmarinas City with (P 558,792,736.00) and General Trias City with (P 151,043.91) Almost all of the identified programs and projects were still on-going. The amount allocated depended on the nature and coverage of the programs and projects.
