Abstract: ANTONIO M. EKUALA, Catch the Word: Development of an Android Game for English Vocabulary. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser. Mark Philip M. Sy. This study was a development of an android game for English Vocabulary. The study contains of setting module, gameplay module, instruction module, lesson module and scoreboard module. The study was conducted to help the incoming Cvsu-Science High students to know the English Vocabulary. In the developing the application, iterative methodology was used to successfully done the study. It was divided into six (6) phases which are: Planning, Requirements, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing, and Evaluation. Android Unity and C# for rendering the game, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for editing the design and Microsoft Word 2013 for the documentation. The designed application was evaluated by 10 faculty member's instructors as technical critic and 120 students’ non-technical respondents. The overall result of the software evaluation with the criteria of functionality, usability, efficiency, and portability showed that the application was excellently done. It means that the researcher met all the expectations and desired output of the study.
