This study was conducted to: (1) provide an in-depth analysis of the management and operations of a poultry farm; (2) identify problems encountered and recommend solutions to the problems; (3) and ascertain the cost and return of the farm.
Veneflor Poultry Farm in Buna Cerca, Indang, Cavite was selected as the place of the study. Financial aspects and farm management procedures were considered as primary
data.
The profitability of the farm was determined by Computing the net income and the computed return on investment against the cost of capital. Results showed that the return on investment was higher, especially on the second year. This is because five haulings were done, although expenses were high. Also at that time birds were already adjusted in the conditions of the locality. AS a result the net income generated was high enough to that of expected level. Hence the system succeeded in generating reasonable earnings.
