Many students have no equal privilege in taking higher education because of poverty and high expenses. Therefore, providing educational assistance to college students given by the government is one of the best solutions in solving this problem. The study on the effect of educational assistance on financial allocation among indigent college students in selected areas of Cavite was conducted. Simple random and stratified random sampling techniques were utilized to select participants. Moreover, using i-test, it was found that the amount of educational assistance was significantly different after availing educational assistance in addition, simple linear regression revealed that educational assistance had no significant effect on financial allocation of indigent college students. It was concluded that there are possible factors that can affect the financial allocation of indigent college. Thus, it is recommended that government should increase the budget for educational assistance because educational assistance provided was relatively small to support the expenses of indigent college students.
