COSTA, YOLINIA Y ROLLAN, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April, 1991. B.S. Thesis "Verifi-cation Trial on the Utilization of Different Farm Wastes as Feed for Broilers", Adviser: Dr. Danilo R. Escano.
A total of 144 day-old straight-run commercial broiler chicks were used in this study to verify the results obtained on the utilization of different farm wastes for broilers following the levels recommended by previous re-searchers. Results showed significant differences on the average body weight, feed consumption, feed efficiency and Income Over Feed and Chick Cost (IOFCC) of the birds fed with ration containing 33% ground yellow corn, 20% dried poultry manure, 15% ground coffee pulp and 20% coconut residue, respectively. No significant differences were observed on the mortality rates of the birds in different treatments.
