"Performance Test Distributed in Major in Animal College, Indang, Escano, Adviser. Sixty day-old Lohmann, Pilch, Starbro and Cobb broiler chicks were used in this study to compare their relative performance characteristics and the economics of raising them under Cavite conditions. The strains were referred to with letter codes such as A, B, C, and D. Results revealed no significant differences in the seven-week average body weight, feed consumption, and feed efficiency of the different commercial broiler strains. Differences in the mortality rates as well as Income Over Feed and Chick Cost (I0FCC) per Chick Started were also small and insignificant.
