Abstract: ALEGRE, REBECCA M. Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April 1991 "Effect of Different Levels of Complete Fertilizer on the Growth and Flower production of Chrysanthemum" Mr .Celso S. Crucido (Adviser) This study, "Effect of Different Levels of Complete Fertilizer on the Growth and Flower Production of Chrysanthemum", was conducted to determine the effect of different levels of complete of fertilizer on the growth and flower production of chrysanthemum and to determine the most effective levels of complete fertilizer that would favor better growth and higher flower production in chrysanthemum. Terminal cuttings were planted in each Dot with a diameter of 30 centimeters. There were four replications and five treatments used in the study. The different treatments used were: Treatment 1 - 0 grams; Treatment 2 - 50 grams; Treatment 3 - 100 grams; Treatment 4 - 150 grams; and Treatment 5 - 200 grams of complete fertilizer. Complete fertilizer was applied 20 and 40 days after planting. Results showed that the highest level of complete fertilizer applied per pot (T5 - 200 grams per pot) significantly produced the highest mean in terms of average height of plants and average number of shoots and flower buds per plants This treatment also significantly lowered the number of days flower bud formation from the time of planting.
