Chapter 1 introduces the need and the importance of having a better understanding of management science. Chapter 2 and 3 discuss linear programming tools using the graphical and simplex methods. Chapter 4 presents the transportation and assignment models that are used in solving special linear programming problems. Chapter 5 describes the quantitative models used when making decisions with several alternatives under different decision environments. Chapter 6 & 7 explain the procedures and methods for solving a management problem using a network.
