Abstract: ESPIRITU, ADRIAN C. and NERICHAEL C. SOLOMON Enhancement of Online Tracking System of Thesis Title of the College of Engineering and Information Technology. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser. Mr. Simeon E. Daez. This study: "Enhancement of Online Tracking System of Thesis Title of the College of Engineering Information Technology" was developed to enhance the previous system based on the identified problems encountered through fishbone diagram; enhance the system using Iterative Development Cycle that will guide the developers in building the system; enhance the system using PHP as programming language and MySQL as the database of the system; and test and evaluate the system. Design requirements, features and implementation of the online tracking system, as well as evaluation from students of CEIT and IT professionals were discussed to show that the system has a number of advantages over the existing system methods, including functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. The system has the ability for researchers to search thesis title online, and for unit researchers and administrators to update and modify the thesis title of students. Although the enhanced online tracking system had a clear improvement over the existing system, it also showed that small details can interfere with usability, and thus user satisfaction and compatibility with browsers is necessary, but still an unaddressed requirement. The proposed system can be accessed online. With the system features presented in the earlier chapters of this documentation, it is concluded that implementing this project is necessary, thus using the system is convenient to CEIT and significant to the beneficiaries. Furthermore, it is concluded that the implementation of the Online Tracking System of Thesis Title of the College of Engineering and Information Technology helps them gain a competitive advantage.
