Abstract: PETIL, JAN ANGELA P. and RAMOS, JAN QUINTIN B. Implementation of Crime Prevention Strategies in City of Dasmarinas, Cavite: An Assessment. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2022. Adviser: Mr. V-jay Eusebio, RCrim, MSCrim. Crime prevention programs and strategies aims to minimize the probability of incidents committed, as well as their detrimental impact on the individual and community, including crime fear, by trying to intervene to significantly affect their numerous factors. This study aimed primarily to determine the effectiveness of crime prevention strategies implemented by the Dasmarinas City Philippine National Police (PNP) in terms of Police Presence, Security Measures and Community Service/Partnership as evaluated by one hundred and 128 barangay officials, 128 PNP officers, and 128 community residents from the 75 barangays in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. Purposive and Convenience sampling was utilized in determining the respondents of this study. A descriptive method of research was applied utilizing self-made questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using the main statistical tools like frequency count, percentage, mean computation, and One-way Analysis of Variance. Findings of the study revealed that the crime prevention strategies in Dasmarinas City, Cavite were "moderately implemented" to include Police Presence, Security Measures and Community Service/Partnership in connection to the responses of 384 respondents. There is a significant difference to the level of efficacy of the PNP in different crime prevention strategies being implemented in Dasmarinas Cavite as assessed by the three groups of participants.
