Abstract: MARK ADRIAN E. TANDANG, JUREL G. TERRADO. A System study at SANHL Sewing Services Co. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2022. Adviser: Ms. Dina P. Bawag. Systems analysis is the process in which a person examines a system in order to assess, model, and select a logical alternative for an information system (Barrier, 2003). The general objective of the study was to analyze and improve the existing production process at SANHL Sewing Services Co. Specifically, it aimed to: determine the current situation at SANHL Sewing Services Co., identify the problems being encountered in the production area, analyze the root cause of the problems that the company encountered, provide possible solutions for the improvement of the current production system and lastly, determine the improvements after the implemented solutions and recommended IE tools. The study was conducted at SANHL Sewing Services Co. with a duration starting from January 10, 2022, to February 11, 2022 The researchers utilized a research developmental method to produce organizational changes by gathering data and information through interviews, assessing the company's existing production process, and choosing study participants using purposive sampling. After interview and direct observation was initiated, the researchers were successful in identifying the problems that occurs in the company. Those problems were: compressed working area, number of defects, unutilized machines, and unorganized machine flow. Pareto analysis was used to examine these difficulties. The importance of each discovered problem was appraised, and cured and alternatives were developed through research. Alternatives would have been presented to the firm, but a pandemic struck most countries during the study, stopping the researchers from completing their examination. The researchers proposed new flow process chart, new floor plan layout of the production area and proposed solutions and recommendations based on Why analysis on the identified major problems. Those stated solutions clearly became beneficial when it comes to maximizing efficiency of the overall process, reduce worker travel, organize machine flow, shorten production time and reducing the amount of rejected outputs in the production area. According to the results, the current process took 100 minutes and 30 seconds, while the process after implementation took 80 minutes and 30 seconds. It reduced 23 minutes from the current production procedure of events. This shortened time has a substantial impact and improvement on the process. Also, three weeks prior to deployment, the company's disclosed records of rejected output count varied from 250 to 350 faults each week. And, three weeks following implementation, rejects began to decline continuously throughout a three-week period, with a record of 230 counts in week one, 219 from week one two and 205 from the third week Furthermore, the researchers recommend to SANHL Sewing Services Co. to carry out training and seminars to their workers consistently, practice application of other lean methodological tools, and conduct study not just on the production area of the company
