The purpose of this study is to show the effects of a stressful workplace environment on
the security personnel's job performance in Cavite State University- Main Campus. In addition,
the specific goals of this study are to identify the internal and external workplace environment
stress; and to identify the effects of the stress workplace environment to the job performance of
the security personnel. In this study, the descriptive correlational method was applied. Close-
ended survey questionnaires were employed as a research instrument in this study (four- point Likert-scale). The specified instrument was used to collect data in order to test the validity and
reliability of the research study. All of the security personnel of the Cavite State University Main
Indang are the participants of the study. This study demonstrates that the internal and external
workplace environment has an impact on security personnel's job performance, and it concludes
that the participant's job performance is influenced by the pressure they encountered in their
respective internal and external workplace environments. Thus, the impact of a stressful
workplace environment on security personnel's job performance is minimal.
To summarize, the significant relationship between a stressful workplace environment
and security personnel's job performance is considerable. Keywords: Security personnel,
