This quantitative study was a descriptive-correlational design mainly aimed to know the
level of awareness and level of satisfaction of CvSU employees in terms of
Cavite State Universitys, Main Campus, Indang Cavite's Security Management
Implementation. Survey questionnaire was used to answer the following questions: (I) What is
the level of awareness of CvSU employees in terms of the implementation of the security
management at the university; (2) What is the level of satisfaction of CvSU employees in
terms of the implementation of the security management at the university; and (3) Is there a
significant relationship between the level of awareness and level satisfaction of CvSU
employees in terms of the implementation of the security management at the university.
The participants of this study were comprised of 101 CvSU employees in different
colleges in Cavite State University, Main Campus, Indang Cavite regardless of their age, sex,
socio economic status and educational attainment. In this study survey questionnaire was
conducted through online specifically Google forms in order to prevent any possible health
risks during the whole process. The researchers used a non-parametric statistical test that
made assumptions about the parameters of the population distribution from which the sample
is drawn. Moreover, Median and Median absolute deviation was used instead of Mean and
Standard Deviation due to presence of outliers in the data and non-normality of distribution. In
that case, the Kendall's Tau-b correlation was used to measure the strength of association of
both variables.
It was revealed from the study that most of the employees in CvSU are aware of what
implementation of the security management is, which focuses on the safety of the assets to be
more organized and more secured. In terms of the level of satisfaction, CvSlJ employees also
stated that they are highly satisfied with this management; it means that security management
is really helpful and useful in an organization like schools and more.
This study recommends that as a staff in an organization or school we need to be fully
aware and knowledgeable enough about every single detail in security management because it
has many great benefits such as the feeling of being secured, safe and organized. It is also
recommended that CvSU may conduct an exam that will test the knowledge and awareness of
