JOY T., Sor think: A Simulation Mobile Application Using Sorting Algorithms
Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University,
Indang, Cavite. July 2019. Adviser: Ms. Julie Ann C. Lontoc.
The study was conducted from May 2018 to July 2019 in order to help the user with the
computer related course to learn sorting algorithm through a mobile game application. Based on
the survey the students had knowledge about sorting algorithms, but they had a hard time to
understand it. Sor think is where students can sort the different sets of numbers in the different
modes in the game. The 6 sorting algorithms named Bubble Sort, Insertion Sort, Selection Sort, Quick Sort,
Merge Sort, and Heap Sort will be played and can be learn in the mobile game. According to the
overall evaluation results, the system was judged to be excellent in all software quality criteria
such as functionality, reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability, and user-friendliness. The
testing evaluation proved that the software was effective. The overall mean for obtained from
the evaluation was 4.66 which is Excellent. This implies that the study met the expected
features of the intended users, as well as the approval of the technical specialists.
