The passion fruit juice extractor was developed and tested at the School of Engineering, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite- The juice extractor can extract juice from a 3 kg. of ripe passion fruit in 1 minute. The shaft with attached brush, the screen, the handle and the stand are the basic parts of the machine. The initial cost of the machine is P 5,293.00 which can be recovered within 452 months. The total fixed cost was computed to be P 1,733.46 and the total operating cost per year is P 14,457.09. The juice extracted from the developed machine has a comparable quality of the extracted juice from large manufacturers which can be bought in many supermarkets
