Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Ms. Ria Ann C. Rozul. The Corona Virus or COVID-19 is the deadliest infectious disease emerged caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This disease spreads across different countries affected many people which resulted to deaths. The outbreak has created a global health crisis that profoundly impacted how people perceive the world and daily living. This study generally aims to determine and assess the Municipality of Indang, Cavite's COVID-19 response to its residents' current COVID-19 situation. Specifically, it aims to: (1) identify the demographic profile of the selected respondents of Indang in terms of their age, gender, and barangay; (2) determine the outcome of the responses of Municipality of Indang, Cavite in terms of COVID-19 isolation facilities, vaccination site and facilities, contact tracing, rule / ordinance implementation and announcement, and COVID-19 record of cases, and (3) determine the significant relationship between the demographic profile and the perceived COVID-19 response experienced by the selected residents from the Municipality of Indang. The researchers started formulating their study from the month of September 2021 up to May 2022. This study employed Quantitative Research. It involves collecting and analyzing numerical data for statistical analysis. It is used to quantify attitudes, opinions, behaviors, and other defined variables and generalize results from a larger sample population. As a result of the study, it found out that the residents of Indang, Cavite are relatively young with only a small percentage belonging to the senior citizen category and the residents of this town are found to be predominantly male. They were very satisfied in vaccination sites/facilities as well as in the way the Municipality of Indang, Cavite handles the facilities and its functions. In contact tracing, the residents of Indang, Cavite are very satisfied with how the Municipality of Indang, Cavite handle the mechanisms and processes of this response during pandemic. Also, the residents of Indang, Cavite are very satisfied to the rules and ordinance implementation passed by the Municipal Council in response to COVID-19. Lastly, pertaining to COVID-19 cases, the residents of Indang, Cavite are also very satisfied with the way the Municipality handles the daily record of cases updates for public information. The residents of Indang, Cavite manifested satisfied only with the way the Municipality of Indang, Cavite handles the response in isolation facilities because they must have more isolation facilities during the pandemic. It is also found out that outcomes did not depend on the gender of the residents. Finally, the researchers recommend conducting the study to other municipalities and cities in the Province of Cavite to broaden the scope of the study and summarize the overall response that helps mitigate the pandemic and the responses that can protect citizens during the pandemic. Furthermore, the researchers also recommend to analyze the number of those who tested positive for COVID-19 and its relationship to the perceived COVID-19 response of the Municipality of Indang, Cavite; interview the people who recovered from COVID-19 in relation to the response of the Municipality of Indang, Cavite; increase the number of participants of the survey in the respective barangays; administer another set of questions in order to determine the residents' opinions as well as their complaints regarding the Municipality's response during the pandemic, and; conduct a study using Qualitative Research and obtain the opinions of the residents of Indang, Cavite through an open-ended set of interviews.
