Abstract: BALANI DONA MAE D. CABACANG KEVIN D. AND IAN CARLO MAAS. Implementation and Sports Accessibility of the Barangay Sports League in Selected Barangay of Tagaytay City. Undergraduate thesis, Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sports and Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. 2022. Adviser: Mr. Angelito F. Penales. This study was conducted from September 2021 to December 2021 in selected Barangays of Tagaytay City. The participants were Barangay Official, Sk chairman and councilors and selected residents of San Jose, Francisco, Tolentino East and Mag asawang-llat of Tagaytay, City. The study mainly focused on the level of implementation and sports accessibility of the barangay sports league. Furthermore, the relationship between the level of implementation in terms of service delivery and sports accessibility of barangay sports league when grouped according to their demographic profile were also highlighted in this study. It used descriptive method of research through survey questionnaire. Findings revealed that operation of the barangay sports league in Tagaytay, City in terms of sports accessibility was sometimes implemented. Presence and availability of barangay sports commission officer, presence of barangay sport organizational structure and observe proper organizational structure were the least implemented activities, as well as presence and availability of designed physical activities and sports league for; senior citizen, children and PWD, however the service delivery of the implementation of barangay sports league was also interpreted as sometimes satisfied. While both ratings are classified under the same interpretation, a z-test with 95% confidence confirms that the rating on service delivery is higher than the rating on the level of implementation. Likewise, the study revealed that the demographic profile of the participants did not affect the satisfactory level of the residents through the service delivery and accessibility of sports in the community. Thus, strict supervision of the City Local Government and SK Federation to the barangay sports league is recommended to ensure the implementation of sports for all specially for children, women and PWD's, also local government may properly coordinate with schools and private organizational sports commission and other agencies for the strengthening and training of athletes, enhance the capability and skills of residents towards sports in order to generate consciousness and enhance the unity and excellence for the development of a healthy and alert citizenry of the community. More so, formulation of supplemental law that shall strengthen the implementation of barangay sports league may be consider for a much agreeable service delivery by the Sangguniang Kabataan and the sports accessibility of the community, formulating seminars/webinars and training for the PWD and senior citizens about their health issues, proper exercise and designed sports to boost their confidence and implementation of sports for all shall be strengthen through implementing sports program specially designed for each resident category, these shall fortify the implementation of barangay sports league maybe considered for more satisfactory services and sports accessibility to the community.
