Abstract: ANOTA, JELUCEL R., AQUE, JETHRO B., NOFUENTE, JOHN PAUL A., SARABUSAB, ROSS M., LARA: An Alternative Reviewer Generator System. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. July 2022. Adviser: Ms. Ria Clarisse M. Sy. This study conducted from August 2021 to June 2022 aimed to develop an application for students who need to construct reviewers for incoming tests and exams. Specifically, it aimed to: to save time on developing and writing reviews, a software application that connects the developer and the user, to extract the high frequency average sentence using extractive summarization, to identify a noun word in a sentence, to implement Stop Word algorithm as a core method, to design a user- friendly and simple-to-use system, and to implement tokenization on producing questions. Python libraries such as NLTK, PDF2DOCX, and others are used to build the software. During the testing phase, 15 different files were used to test the outcomes for the summarization and creation of questionnaire. 81.19% validity was obtained from the summarization, while 71.27% for the questionnaire. Software evaluation forms based on ISO 9126 were distributed (via Google Forms) and distributed to 50 randomly selected students and 10 IT experts. The participants evaluated the software using the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, portability, efficiency, helpfulness and maintainability. The system received good ratings in all software quality areas, with an aggregate score of 4.74 from the non-technical evaluators and 4.4 from the technical evaluators. As a result, the LARA was identified as an application that may assist students in developing for their reviewers.
