People, communities, societies, and systems may become more resilient to many hazards by learning to resist, absorb, accommodate, recover from, and improve their well- being through DRRM activities. Furthermore, the researchers only utilized asking open-ended questions that will be interpreted narratively to know the effective DRRM strategies in Tanza. Based on the data collected, the researchers asserted that the Municipality of Tanza prioritizes quality in doing quick response to disaster-stricken communities. The researchers also asserted that Tanza also specializes on doing DRRM related seminars and drills to better ready the community in times of disasters and to at least minimize disaster related casualties.
