An Entrepreneurial Development Project entitled Insta Jar was conducted at 102 Bonifacio Drive, Silang Crossing West, Tagaytay City. From January 2019 to
January 2020.
Insta Jar operated for five months from January 21 , 2019 to March 2019, and they extend from August to September 2019. The project aimed to: 1.) gain management and operational techniques in dessert-making project; 2.) identify the problems encountered by the entrepreneurs and suggest possible solutions for its improvement; 3.) apply the marketing concepts and skills learned from the course; and 4.) effectively promote the enterprise and earn profit.
The business was in form of partnership. The three partners invested an initial capital of P30, 000 which they equally shared. During the operation of the business, different tasks and responsibilities like marketing, finance and production were divided among the three partners.
At the beginning of their operation, they conducted free tasting for their prospective buyers who wanted to taste the product. They also offered discounts, displayed some of their products in different stores and decided to post signs outside their location informing their target market.
After months of operation, the project generated a total sale of P49,429.59 for the whole operation and obtained a total net income of PI 1 ,983.44.
