Abstract: ARVIOLA, MARIFE E. and MATIENZO, JOSEPH CARL D. Indang KonekTayo Kiosk. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2023. Adviser: Ms. Joy M. Peji. One of the main sources of income in the Philippines is tourism but owing to worldwide obstacles like virus outbreaks and technology breakthroughs, tourism was temporarily disrupted, bringing with it problems and issues already in existence. The Municipality of Indang's current condition heavily relies on the demand for information and educational tools; thus, the researchers created a system to address the issues they had found. Indang, Cavite is lacking in informational resources that could benefit its residents and visitors. Indang KonekTayo kiosk, a developed project, provided the informational needs of both residents and visitors of Municipality of Indang, which is located in the province of Cavite. The researchers used a variety of tools such as software tools, hardware requirements and services to establish the process. It is a technological solution that satisfies current interests and needs and provides easy access to data sources and useful information. Additionally, it offers assistance that supports users in creating map routes, locations, and even displaying informational requirements like announcements and Wiki, as well as handling outgoing SMS. Because Interactive Kiosks were prone to updates and encountered significant changes, the produced system was based on the enhanced Agile SDLC described by Yadav, Goar, and Kuri (2020) and was made up of sprints with each one intended to concentrate on the developmental modifications. The development was a success as all the modules run and function very well, which had a favorable impact on the target users.
