Abstract: MENDOZA, KEYCEE G. and MONTEROZO, JENNIFER A. Development of an E-learning System for Plane and Spherical Trigonometry. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2011. Adviser: Ms. Vanessa G. Coronado. The proposed system entitled "Development of an e-learning System for Plane and Spherical Trigonometry" was developed to help the college avoid the delay of delivering knowledge to the students, help the instructor on the difficulties in monitoring the increasing number of students enrolled in Plane and Spherical Trigonometry subject and to help the students to acquire knowledge about the subject through quality, easy and understandable lessons. It identifies the problems of existing learning style presentation for each topic of the course through conducting research and interviews. The significance of the proposed study was educational significance because the student gained idea about what are the trends today, specifically the educational system. E-learning helps students to learn by their own with an expert instruction in giving the learner all the materials that they need, that may help them to understand the topic and easily cope up with it. After conducting the evaluation, the author established the following recommendation for the better enhancement that the system can have; Games as other way of teaching a subject through system, thus provide a more interactive way of presentation, it is better if the system use videoconference so that the instructors and the students can interact with each other easily and the system is recommended to connect to the Cavite State University site so that the student can easily have an access to the system.
