Abstract: APOLONIO, JENNIEVY R. and ROMEROSA, DANICO JAY M. Development of f-learning System in Science and Health for Grade Six Students of Tejeros Convention Elementary School. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, March 2011. Adviser: Ms. Charlotte B. Carandang. The study was conducted to develop an E-Learning System for Science and Health which is able to provide a new and interactive way of learning and improve the way of teaching through the use of computer in presentation of lessons and assessments. The study aimed to enhance the way of teaching the subject. It provides each student a different learning experience that can lead them to interactive and fun learning. The Extreme Programming (XP) was used as a paradigm in developing the system which includes Exploration Phase, Planning Phase, Iterations to Release Phase, Productionizing Phase, Maintenance Phase and Death Phase. The E-Learning System was developed under XAMPP, wherein Apache was used as the server, PHP as the scripting language and MySQL as the database. Notepad++ for code editing, Macromedia Flash 8 for the animations, Adobe Photoshop 7 for photo editing images, Google Chrome as default browser, and Microsoft Office 2007 for documentation were also utilized. The software was evaluated and satisfied all of the objectives of the study.
