The e-Learning system was developed under XAMPP, wherein Apache will be used as the server, MySQL for the database and PHP as the scripting language. Additional application softwares used are Adobe Photoshop CS for graphics, Macromedia Flash 8 for animations and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 for the design of the interface and Mozilla Firefox as the default browser.
The system was evaluated by the respondents based on the given criteria: Accuracy, Consistency, Correctness, Reliability, Information in the Program, User Interaction and Technical Aspects of the Software and Materials. Evaluators were composed of computer experts and the students from BS Hotel and Restaurant Management and BS Tourism, as well as the faculty teachers who are teaching the Principle of Tourism I.
