Abstract: RICHELLE C. IBE, ANDREW T. MARGES, AND RYAN FRANCIS C. MOLINA. Decision Support System For Instructor Evaluation. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. February 2010. Adviser: Dr. Shaneth A. Estrada. The study was conducted to provide a decision support system for evaluation of instructors. The system provides collection and consolidation of information from different assessment tools. The Decision Support System also provides decision support models that aid the user in making decisions. It uses fuzzy logic algorithm for the processing of data. It can also generate reports for the decision maker. Prototyping Model was used as the development methodology which has six phases; Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Prototype Analysis and Design, Prototype Construction, Prototype Testing and Evaluation, and Implementation. The system was developed through the use of the following development tools: Visual Basic.Net was used for the construction of the software, and MySQL and MS Access DBMS for the database. The system was evaluated based on the following criteria: information in the program, career development process, user interaction, and technical aspects of the software. Evaluators were composed of CELT Instructors and students. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation.
