Abstract: AÑANA, CRISTY L. and CANIYA, FLORABEL M. Learning Content Management System on Professional Ethics and Values Education. Undergraduate Thesis. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. May 2008. Adviser: Mr. Marlon Pereña. The study entitled Learning Content Management System on Professional Ethics and Values served as a substitute in teaching Professional Ethics. It is a new learning technique wherein the student can study online. It enables the users to access the system anytime through the Internet. The system is user-friendly. The discussions of the lessons are brief, clear and easy to understand plus it features additional examples and explanations. After each chapter, an activity either reflections or assignments are included in the system as an application about the topic. It also includes an assessment module that contains quizzes to assess if the student really understands the lesson. It enabled the student to view the result of the assessment immediately. The users can communicate with each other through forums and chat. For the instructors and administrator, a bulletin board is provided by the system to post immediate messages. It has three levels of access: the administrator. instructor and the student. The administrator is responsible in the content management of the system. Instructors of the subject are responsible in the student's record and the system is a new learning technique for the students that will substitute the instructors. Fourth Generation Technique was the paradigm used in developing the system. The paradigm matched with the objectives of the study. PHP was used as the scripting language and MySQL as the database of the system. The system %1/4 as evaluated by the instructors. students and computer experts under the criterion of user-friendliness. informativeness, robustness, correctness, efficiency, accuracy, reliability, and consistency of the system.
