Abstract: Dimapasok, Jonalyne Co, (Agricultural Science Curri-culum); Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite; "COST AND RETURN ANALYSIS OF MANGO PRODUCTION IN SELECTED BARRIOS OF INDANG, CAVITE". Adviser : Mrs. Luzviminda Rodrin The study was conducted to determine the cost and re-urn of mango production in Indang, Cavite, the socio economic characteristics of the farmers, and the problems en-countered by the farmers. It also aimed to determine the relationship of socio economic characteristics of farmers, information on mango production, and the problems encountered to cost and return of mango production. A total of 45 mango farmers were used in this study. An interview schedule was used to obtain the information needed. The interview had been done during Saturdays and Sundays from June to August. Frequency counts and percentages and the chi-square test were used in the analysis and interpretation of data. The result shows that when the cost of production is high, the gross income is low, and therefore, the net in-come is low. Result also shows that tenure status, size of the farm and problems encountered in production are related to gross income, while size of the farm is related to net income.
