Abstract: MANIACOP, JASON RUIZ, Applied Research IV of the Enriched Science Curriculum, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, March, 199). "COMPOST FARMING USING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF MADRE DE CACAO IN THE PRODUCTION OF BINIRHEN UPLAND RICE." Adviser: Mr. Epifanio H. Feraer The study "Compost Farming Using Different Levels of Madre de Cacao in the Production of Binirhen Upland Rice" was conducted to determine the effect of different levels of madre de cacao in the production of Binirhen upland rice and to find out which level of madre de cacao leaves will give the highest yield of Binirhen upland rice. The treatments used were the following: Ty - rice treated with 1.5 grams Urea or 3 bags/ha.; To rice treated with 10 grams madre de cacao leaves or 1 ton/ha.; T3 - rice treated with 20 grams madre de cacao leaves or 2 tons/ha.; Ty, - rice treated with 30 grams madre de cacao leaves or 3 tons/ha.; and Ts - rice treated with 40 grams madre de cacao leaves or tons/ha. Treated rice showed non-significant results on the average number of tillers per plant as compared to the rice treated with Urea. Highly significant results were obtained from rice treated with O grams madre de cacao leaves or tons/ha. In the parameter average weight of grains and average number of grains per plant. This proved that levels of madre de cacao had a remarkable effect in the production of Binirhen upland rice.
