Pegenia, Rosalina Rojo, Don Severino Agricultural College, April, 1980. "Factors Related to the Performance of Poultry Raisers in Cavite". Adviser: Mr. Danilo R. Escano
A total of 53 raisers from nine selected towns of Cavite was used in this study to: 1) know the socioeconomic characteristics of poultry raisers and their relationship to Performance; 2) determine the management practices employed in poultry farm operation and their relation to performance; and 3) ascertain the relationship existing between performance and marketing practices.
Among the socioeconomic characteristics included in this study, educational attainment and size of the family were found to be significantly related to the performance of the raisers. Among the management practices, only regular disinfection was found to exhibit significant relationship with performance. All the marketing practices, on the other hand, were found to be insignificantly related to poultry production performance.
