Abstract: HERRERA, RICHARD OPEDA. Pancipane Trading Corporation, Makati City. Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2003. Adviser: Dr. Nelia C. Cresino. A three-month study was conducted in Pancipane Trading Corporation located at 7816 S. Javier St. Makati City. It specifically aimed to describe the products and services offered by the company, determine the existing management practices and policies being employed by the company, and provide insights and reflections about the field study conducted. Data and information about the company were gathered from the company's files and records, which include matters on the products and services offered by the company and existing company management practices and policies. The company is engaged in retailing and wholesaling, marketing, installation and pull out and service provision on tent products. The company meets its customer's demand and is able to satisfy it. In addition, the company is an accredited supplier of the Philippine National Park Committee, which has the control and supervision of all national parks such as Luneta and Paco Park and different gardens of Intramuros. The company offers products such as canvas, canopies, and tents. Moreover, the company provides quality services to its customer. The major responsibilities performed by the trainee included assisting the sales coordinator in providing receipts to the customer, data encoding, sending fax messages, answering phone calls, filing the files and other clerical tasks.
