A field study was conducted at Sustamina Agri-Industrial Corporation located at Aguinaldo Highway, Biga II Silang, Cavite from November 26, 2002 to February 26, 2003.
The general objective of the study was to apply gained knowledge and skills through actual participation in the company operations, which will be useful in seeking future employment. Specifically, the study aimed to: describe the organization and management of the firm; describe the product offered in the market and identify the problems as well as the future plans of the firm.
The data were gathered from the company profile, interviews with its staff and personnel, and actual participation in the firm's activities. Sustamina Agri Industrial Corporation is composed of five Boards of Directors including Mrs. Belen Chavez, the President and four Boards of Directors.
The Corporation is engaged in marketing of chicks, chicken, swine and eggs. Major problems encountered by the firm are the high cost of medicine and open market of imported poultry products.
