Online resources: Abstract: The study, "Effect of Different Hats of Complete fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Bush Sitao '' was conducted at Kayquit Indang, Cavite from April 29, 1978 to July 2, 1978. This study aimed to determine the effect of different rates of complete fertilizer on the growth and yield of bush sitao. An area of 408 square meters was plowed with the use of animal drawn implements. The field was divided into four blocks, which was further sub-divided into four treatments and a control. Hills were distance centimeters apart and three seeds were planted per hill. Planting was done on April 29, 1978• Four days after planting germination took place. On the third week. plants from treatments fertilized with 350 kilograms per hectare of complete fertilizer (14 14-14) showed vigorous growth. The leaves of the fertilized plants were broader and greener in color, while the plants on the unfertilized one remained yellowish and stunted in growth. After 40 days, the plants began to flower. The plants fertilized with 400 and 350 kilograms of complete fertilizer per hectare flowered five days ahead the plants which were not fertilized. Harvesting of pods was done sixty days after planting. At this time the pods were fully grown, sucullent, tender and alreadyd for marketing. Harvesting was done six times during the duration of the experiment. Treatment 3 ( 50 kilograms of complete fertilizer per hectare) produced the highest yield of pods in kilograms per hectare among the treatments.
