It aimed to deters-nine in what type of pen could piglets scouring be easily controlled and to know the rate of piglet incidence in the piggery farms surveyed. Finding showed that the 131 and 135 piglets kept Findings showed that in ground and elevated cent and floor pens' showed a 46 per had an 19 percent incidence of diarrhea respectively. They had an 80 percent and 88 percent recovery after the antibiotic Statistical analysis showed significant results both at one percent and five percent levels. Aside from immune carriers, high incidence of diarrhea in ground floor pens was attributed to the difficulty of keeping the pens dry, clean and free from organisms that harbored between the cracks of the floorings. Finally, findings revealed that provision of elevated and the walls suckling’s would facilitate voted, clean, and dry Pens for effective prevention or control and an aid to immediate response to antibiotic treatment of infected piglets, an could be attained.
