Online resources: Abstract: ABSTRACT The study, "Effect of Varying Amounts of Phosphorous on the Growth and Yield of Mongo", was conducted from August 27 to November, 1980 at Carasuchi, Indang, Cavite. The aim of which was to determine the right amount of phosphorous on the growth and yield of mongo. A total land area of 1,000 square meters was used in the study. The experimental design used in this experiment was the randomized complete block design. The land was Givided into four blocks which represented the replications and sub-divided into 16 plots for treatments. The different treatments were distributed at random in different plots. Application of phosphorous fertilizer was done three weeks after broadcasting or when the plants were about four inches high. The different treatments were T, (control), To (with 100 kilograms per hectare), T, (with 150 kilograms per hectare), and Ty, (with 200 kilograms per hectare). Among the treatments, Ty (200 kilograms per hectare) produced the highest yield and number of pods per plot, number of seeds per pod, heaviest fresh weight of harvest per plot, and tallest plant. Generally, application of fertilizer (P50¢) favorably affected the start of plant growth and seed development.

ABSTRACT
The study, "Effect of Varying Amounts of Phosphorous on the Growth and Yield of Mongo", was conducted from August 27 to November, 1980 at Carasuchi, Indang, Cavite.

The aim of which was to determine the right amount of phosphorous on the growth and yield of mongo.

A total land area of 1,000 square meters was used in the study. The experimental design used in this experiment was the randomized complete block design. The land
was Givided into four blocks which represented the replications and sub-divided into 16 plots for treatments. The different treatments were distributed at random in different plots.

Application of phosphorous fertilizer was done three weeks after broadcasting or when the plants were about four inches high. The different treatments were T, (control),

To (with 100 kilograms per hectare), T, (with 150 kilograms per hectare), and Ty, (with 200 kilograms per hectare).
