Abstract: Frying oil is converted to methyl ester by transesterification method and is characterized in terms of viscosity, heating value, sulfur content, flash point, and specific gravity. The results obtained from the following properties are within the limits of standard for conventional diesel fuel and comparable to the methyl ester coco-diesel. A study was conducted to determine the viability and profitability of establishing Bio Fuel Corporation in Barangay Cabuco, Trece Martires City. The results of this study will certainly serve as bases to whether to pursue the project or not. On marketing aspect, questionnaire survey method was used to establish historical demand and supply figures. The proponent identified the target area at San Agustin I Dasmarinas, Cavite. The historical supply and demand figures are used to forecast the projected demand at 69, 955, 570 liters and supply at 10,637, 939 liters in 2011 for bio-diesel fuel. The place where the project shall be located has a total land area of 5,850 square meters at Dasmarinas and Trece Martires City. The manufacturing steps involved in the production of bio-diesel fuel together with the machines, equipment, furniture and fixtures, and other fixed assets required in its manufacture are outlined and discussed in this chapter. On organization and management aspect, the project will be organized as a corporation and will be registered under the name Bio Fuel Corporation with fifteen (15) original incorporators. This will give the funding needed for the project. The bio-diesel fuel project is to be composed of 35 employees for its plantation and station. On financial aspect, initial capitalization is set at forty five million pesos (Php 45,000,000) to be sourced from the stockholders. The payback period of the project is determined to be earlier of the second year of operations. The total cash inflow during the five (5) years of operation is Php 137,782,522 with a benefit cost ratio of 3.06. On socio-economic aspect, it justified that the project is not only financially viable but also socially desirable and economically acceptable because it will generate employment, improve one's quality of life, can generate revenue, taxes, and income, and will contribute to the development of the community where it will be located. The proponent is of the opinion that the bio-diesel fuel and Bio Fuel Corporation at Trece Martires City and the information gathered would serve future researchers in good stead and entice potential investors to venture into this type of business enterprise because it will not only help our environment but it could also uplift our economic status. It is strongly believe that the project is viable and feasible through the supporting data gathered and analyses made on each aspect. In monetary terms, the project is profitable and viable to support the production of bio-diesel fuel.
