This study was conducted to find out the study habits and coping mechanism of fourth year engineering students in Cavite State University. Specially, it aimed to; (a) know the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender and family income; (b) reveal the study habits of the respondents in the following factors; time management, concentration and exams; (c) determine the significant differences of the respondents coping response of fourth year engineering students; (4) determine that there is no significant relationship between coping mechanism of the respondents. The study was conducted from November 2007 to January 2008 which focuses mainly on the study habits and coping mechanism of fourth year engineering students in CvSU.
Seventy-three (73) fourth year engineering students served as the respondents. The adapted questionnaires were used to determine the study habits and coping mechanism of the fourth year engineering students in Cavite State University.
