This study investigated the perceived organizational commitment leadership style and values orientation of Socio-cultural organization members of Cavite State University — main campus AY 2007-2008. It was conducted at Student Union Building (SUB) of Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The main objective of this study was to know the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of (a) College; (b) Age; (c) Gender; (d) Position; (e) Number of years; (f) Influence; and (g) Reason in joining, determine the perceived organizational commitment of the respondents in three Socio-cultural groups, determine leadership style of the respondents, determine values orientation of the respondents, know if there is significant relationship between perceived organizational commitment and values orientation of the respondents, know if there is significant relationship between perceived organization commitment and leadership style of the respondents and know if there is significant relationship between leadership style and values orientation of the respondents. A total of 100 selected Socio-cultural organization members of Cavite State University were considered in the study. The researcher used the Perceived Organizational Support Scale (POSS). This is to identify how the students commit themselves to their respective organizations. The researcher also used the Leadership Style Self-Assessment which was lifted from the thesis of Cristine Balano and the Values Orientation Questionnaire. After analyzing the data gathered, it was therefore concluded that most of the members of the Socio-cultural organizations were females. Most of the members of Socio-cultural organizations joined the group to enhance their skills and abilities. There were 28 officers and 72 members in the whole Socio-cultural organizations. Forty three out of 100 members of the Socio-cultural organizations have stayed in the group for less than a year, meaning that majority of them were first year students and new members of the organization. Friends had great influence on the involvement of the respondents in the Socio-cultural organization. Most of the members of Socio-cultural organizations belong to laissez faire leadership style. Most of the members of the Socio-cultural organizations belongs to normative organizational commitment and reflects the sense of obligation to the organization. Majority of the members of the Socio-cultural organization show interest/enjoyment in the organization. There was no significant relationship between leadership style and value orientation, perceived organizational commitment and leadership style, and value orientation perceived organizational commitment.

Majority of the members of the Socio-cultural organization show interest/enjoyment in the organization. There was no significant relationship between leadership style and value orientation, perceived organizational commitment and leadership style, and value orientation perceived organizational commitment.
