Abstract: PERIO, APRIL PUNONGBAYAN. Suyen Corporation Bench, Pasay City. Undergraduate Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2008. Adviser: Prof Roderick M. Rupido. A field study was conducted from December 10, 2007 to February 12, 2008 at Suyen Corporation (Bench) located at 2214 Tolentino Street, Santa Clara Pasay City to describe the management policies, practices, incentives and motivation; identify the marketing activities; identify the problems encountered by the firm and suggest feasible solutions. Data were gathered through observations, actual participation in different activities of the company, personal interviews with the employees, company files, records, interne and other reference books. Suyen Corporation (Bench) is a family corporation owned by Mr. Ben Chan, his sister Nenita Lim and brother-in-law Virgilio Lim. It is engaged in retailing and wholesaling of garments and other allied products. It aims to be recognized as an international brand manufacturer and distributor. After the study, the student trainee gained self-confidence, learned discipline, and have become independent and responsible in everything she does. All the problems encountered by the trainee served as challenges in facing trials in life. After overcoming all those challenges, she is now prepared for tougher realities in the employment world.
