The study was entitled, "Influence of Spiritual Support Towards Self-acceptance of Selected Inmates in Cavite Provincial Jail, Trece Martires City." The study aimed to determine the level of spiritual support and the level of self-acceptance of the respondents during incarceration. It also aimed to determine if there is a significant relationship between the influence of spiritual support and self-acceptance of inmates during incarceration. The study was conducted at Cavite Provincial Jail, Trece Martires City. The respondents were 100 Catholic male inmates attending spiritual activities. The study used a descriptive-correlational design with a purposive sampling technique.
The lifted and modified questionnaire was validated and used to determine the level of Spiritual Support and Self-acceptance and also to determine the relationship of two variables. Results revealed that the Spiritual Support and Self-acceptance of the inmates during incarceration falls on the High level. It was also revealed that the null hypothesis was rejected, which means there is a significant relationship between the influence of spiritual support and self-acceptance of inmates during Incarceration.
