This study was conducted to find out the relationship of demographic profile and attitude towards work of the fourth year students and the difference of attitude towards work between private and public schools in Gen. Trias, Cavite. It also aimed to determine the (1) demographic profile of the fourth year students in private and school in terms of age, gender, educational attainment of the parents, and monthly family income; (2) identify the level of attitude towards work of the fourth year students in private and public school in terms of: schoolwork and routine duties; (3) determine if there is significant relationship between demographic profile and attitude towards schoolwork and routine duties of fourth year students in private and public school; (4) determine if there is significant difference on attitude towards work between private and public school. This study was conducted to find out the demographic profile and attitude towards of fourth year high students in private and public high school in Gen. Trias, Cavite Academic Year 2008-2009 at Fiat Lux Academe and Gov. Ferrer Memorial National High School Academic Year 2008-2009 from October 2008 to March 2009. This study involved 180 respondents from fourth year high school of Gen. Trias, Cavite. Eighty respondents (80) from private school and 100 from public school (25 each respondents from four sections). The result of the study showed that the respondents from private and public schools have high level of attitude towards schoolwork and low level of attitude towards routine duties. It also showed that age and gender have no significant relationship towards work. It revealed that educational attainment of fourth year students' fathers and attitude towards work have relationship. While educational attainment of fourth year students' mothers and attitude towards schoolwork had relationship and there's no relationship on attitude towards routine duties. It showed that monthly family income and attitude towards work have no relationship. The result of the study also showed that there is no difference on attitude towards schoolwork between private and public school, and there is difference on attitude towards routine duties.
