This study was about the reasons on the absence of fathers, emotional maturity and life satisfaction of high school students in Silang Cavite. This study aimed to determine (1) the reasons of teenagers why they have an absentee father; (2) level of emotional maturity of teenagers in the absence of their father, (3) level of life satisfaction of teenagers in the absence of their father; (4) significant difference of emotional maturity of teenagers regarding their reasons why they have an absentee father; (5) significant difference of life satisfaction of teenagers regarding their reasons why they have an absentee father; (6) significant relationship between emotional maturity and life satisfaction The respondents of the study were 150 selected high school students in Bulihan National High School and Infant Jesus Academy in Silang Cavite. They were chosen through the use of purposive and quota sampling. The objectives of the research were attained through the help of two sets of questionnaire, the Emotional Maturity Test which composed of 25-item test and Life Satisfaction Test that has a 35-item test. To test the reliability and validity of the test, pre test and posttest were done. After the data gathering, the researcher assessed and analyzed the data gathered. For the purpose of the study, it was found out that due to death, divorce or separation and fathers who are working abroad are the most common reasons on having an absentee father. The researcher formulated hypotheses that there is no significant difference in emotional maturity and life satisfaction of high school students regarding the reasons for absentee father since they all fell on the high level. Therefore, it was found out that there is a significant relationship between emotional maturity and life satisfaction of the respondents.
