Abstract: Bricks as design for wall and floor coverings in pathway are largely used in houses. Bricks made from coal ash ‘vill be produced to address the demand of bricks product and especially to help to provide a solution to the disposal problem and at the same time convert this waste into a material of value. Finally, the invention also provide relatively inexpensive construction material for housing and other purposes. This study aimed to find out the feasibility and profitability of the brick industry in Cavite and Batangas. Specifically, the project aimed to determine the possible problems to be encountered in putting up the business and the solutions to overcome these problems-, to gather necessary information on the marketability of Ash Brick., to identify all factors that might affect the business:, to gather pertinent data and knowledge about Ash Brick Productions raw materials supply, production and processing of the product, necessary machines and equipments, characteristics to be tested and the peso-earning contribution of the project to the country' economy. The study was concentrated in the province of Cavite and Batangas. This study however has its own limitations such as the nature and similarity of the product to the existing kind of bricks and some factors affecting brick industry such as market, consumer, production process and competition. MV Bricks Manufacturing Corporation (IVIVBMC) will produce bricks from coal ash, for the benefit of many customers in the target areas. The product will compete with commercially available kind of brick in terms of quality and price. The raw materials that will be used by MVBMC in manufacturing brick are coal ash (fly ash and bottom ash) cement and pigment MVBMC will purchase coal ash from Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant in Batangas and Quezon. The study covered the following aspects of marketing, technical, organizational and management, financial, and socio — economic aspect. In the marketing aspect, the residents of the target provinces were the chosen target market of MVBMC. The marketing program and strategies were developed to ensure that ash brick will be able to penetrate brick market in the target provinces. In terms of technical aspect, quality products will be the top priority of the company and will adapt a total quality system to ensure the highest quality of its product, efficiency and utilization of its manpower and machines. With regards to organization and management aspect, the company will be registered under the name MV Bricks Manufacturing Corporation (MVBMC), an enterprise that will engage into bricks manufacturing. In order to provide quality products and satisfaction to its customers, MVBMC will hire highly competent and skilled employees. In the financial aspect, by using the measures of liquidity, solvency and profitability, the business is expected to generate large amount of income. While for the socio—economic aspect, MVBMC will provide lots of benefits for unemployed people, interested investors and to the economy once it is implemented. The findings of the study showed that the manufacturing of ash brick is feasible and financially viable. It is therefore, recommended that the project be implemented as soon as possible.
