Abstract: An entrepreneurial project in broiler production was conducted at the Animal Production Project of Cavite State University, Don Severino de las Alas Campus from July 23 to September 1, 2010 for the student to gain more knowledge and harness the skills in broiler production as well as determine the profitability of raising broilers. After the operation, the birds attained an average body weight of 1.59 kg with an average feed consumption of 3.13 kg and a feed conversion efficiency of 1.98. A 99% harvest recovery was realized. After 40 days of rearing, the birds were sold live and dressed for a total sales of PhP15,153.90. The project recorded a production cost of PhP10, 137.00 giving a net return of PhP5, 016.90 or a return of investment of 49.49 %.
