The study was undertaken to determine the level of satisfaction on government benefits and privileges as perceived by local government employees in selected cities in Cavite. It aimed to determine the profile of local government employees in selected cities of Cavite; describe the benefits and privileges received by local government employees in selected cities in Cavite; determine the level of satisfaction of local government employees on benefits and privileges; and identify the relationship between the local government employees’ profile and their perception on the level of satisfaction on benefits and privileges. The participants of the study were 98 local government employees in selected cities of Cavite, namely: Trece Martires, Dasmarifias, and Imus. The study made use of frequency counts, mean, percentage, and standard deviation to describe the profile, benefits and privileges of participants. Likert’s scale was used to determine the level of satisfaction of the participants. Spearman rank correlation test was used to determine the relationship of participants’ profile and their perception on the level of satisfaction on benefits and privileges. Majority of the participants were 36 to 50 years old, occupying the first level career position, had been in the government for almost 16 years and above, and with a salary grade of 6 to 10. Some of the benefits and privileges received by local government employees were basic pay, midyear bonus, 13" month pay, productivity pay, clothing allowance, loyalty and leave. The perceived level of satisfaction on government benefits and privileges among local government employees was moderately satisfied. In terms of relationship between the profile of participants and their perception on the level of satisfaction on benefits and privileges, only clothing allowance was associated with position. Basic pay, midyear bonus, and 13" month pay were associated with salary grade. The variables were found not significantly related with benefits and privileges.
