Abstract: BAES III, RICARDO B., ESCAURIASA, JOHN NICK() E., MAGANTE, EJ T. Production Of Bio Pesticide From Extracts Of Neem Leaves (Azadirachta Indica) And Kantutay Leaves (Lantana Camara) Against Leaf Folder. Research Study. Science High School, College of Education, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Prof. Agnes Alimboyoguen. This study was conducted at the Cavite State University- Research Center. It aimed to produce a biopesticide from Neem and Kantutay leaves extracts. Specifically, it aimed to determine the level of biopesticidal activity of each formulation of biopesticide and to determine which formulation of Neem and Kantutay extracts will exhibit biopesticidal activity against leaf folder. Treatments were: Ti (50g Petroleum Ether Neem Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T2(50g Methanol Neem Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T3 (50g Petroleum Ether Kantutay Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T4 (50g Methanol Kantutay Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T5(25g Petroleum Ether Neem Extract + 25g Petroleum Ether Kantutay + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water ); T6 (25g Methanol Neem Extract + 25g Methanol Kantutay Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T7 (25g Petroleum Ether Neem Extract + 25g Methanol Kantutay Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); T8 (25g Methanol Neem Extract + 25g Petroleum Ether Kantutay Extract + 200mL of Oil and 500mL of water); positive control (commercial pesticide); and negative control (cooking oil). Each treatment was applied to 10 leaf folders. After three days, the larval mortality rate was determined by counting the number of dead larvae. Based on the result of this study, the produced biopesticides were effective against leaf folder. Among the formulations which used pure kantutay and neem extracts, the best treatment is T2, which has a larval mortality rate of 100%. Among the formulations which used combinations of kantutay and neem extracts, the best treatment is 16, which has a larval mortality rate of 80%.
