Adviser: Mrs. Charlotte B. Carandang. The study aimed to create a Computerized Inventory System for the Marketing Center in Cavite State University. Specifically, it aimed to determine the processes involved in the existing inventory system of the Marketing Center; to identify all the problems within the existing system’s processes; to design and develop a software capable of monitoring items or stocks as well as adding and deleting of records on sales and credits; to provide accurate records of customers/creditors as well as their respective reports; and to evaluate the system through cost-benefit analysis. Different methods were used in the study. It included gathering of preliminary data through interviews and observation of the existing system. Construction of a data flow diagram was also included. The software was developed through the application of a paper prototype. Series of testing, which includes function testing, performance testing, acceptance testing and installation testing, was performed. The study was evaluated through cost-benefit analysis using payback.
