Applied Research III (General Science Curriculum) Cavite State University Indang, Cavite March 2001. FABRICATION AND EVALUATION OF MOSQUITO STICK FROM DUHAT LEAVES (Syzygium Cumini) AND COW MANURE. Adviser: Engineer Albert Emi The study entitled “Fabrication and Evaluation of Mosquito Stick from Cow Manure and Duhat Leaves (Syzygium cumini) was conducted to make use of duhat leaves and cow manure in making mosquito stick. The main objective of the study is to fabricate mosquito killer from duhat leaves and cow manure. Specifically it aimed to (a) prove the effectiveness of mosquito stick, (b) determine the best proportion of cow manure and duhat leaves in the fabrication of mosquito stick. The study was conducted at Pulo, Indang, Cavite on December 2000. The treatments in the study were composed of the following; Treatment 1 (75% duhat leaves and 25% cow manure); Treatment 2 (25% duhat leaves and 75% cow manure); Treatment 3 (50% duhat leaves and 50% cow manure); Treatment 4 (60% of cow manure and 40% duhat leaves); Treatment 5 (60% duhat leaves and 40% cow manure). The result of the study was determined by the mortality rate of mosquitoes. Among all treatments, Treatment 1 showed the best result, which is 75% duhat leaves and 25% cow manure.

The study entitled “Fabrication and Evaluation of Mosquito Stick from Cow Manure and Duhat Leaves (Syzygium cumini) was conducted to make use of duhat leaves and cow manure in making mosquito stick.
