The study entitled Youth Haven: A Reformation Center in Cavite, focused on designing a reformation center in Silang, Cavite. The objective of the study is to find an appropriate site for the reformation center, design characteristics, form, design concepts, philosophy, and considerations, and determine features and necessary facilities in designing the center. Data were gathered from different agencies of the government. These information includes interviews, observations and analysis of relevant information.
These are the baseline for a well-rounded design for the proposal with the established results predetermined by the study, Barangay Lucsuhin, Silang, Cavite has the most advantageous site that befits the facility. The center can accommodate up to 350 children in conflict with the law (CICL) from all over the province. Establishing the proposal would improve the situation of CICL in Cavite and relieve the community from the distressing cases of youth involving in crimes.
