The study sought to assess the perceived Effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay in Selected Barangays in the Municipality of Indang, Cavite. Specifically, the study sought to determine the nature of cases that the participants are involved in; to determine the social hindrances in the implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay in terms of family and financial factors; and to determine the perceived effectiveness of the Katarungang Pambarangay in terms of dispute resolution, settlement satisfaction and promptness. The study used descriptive method. Purposive sampling technique was used in this study. It was integrated by a self-made questionnaire as a gathering tool. The participants were asked to answer the nature of cases that they are involved in, the social hindrances in terms of family and financial, the perceived effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay in terms of dispute resolution, settlement satisfaction and promptness. The frequency distribution was used to determine the nature of cases that they are involved in. The mean and standard deviation were used to determine the social hindrances and the perceived effectiveness of the participants. The findings of the study showed that the participants' nature of cases that they are involved in were just minor or small issues. Most of rare disputes were settle in:-roper courts. Social hindrances in terms of family factor got a low hindrance level and financial factor got a very low hindrance level. These factors do not hinder the participants in resolving their issues or disputes in the Katarungang Pambarangay. It also revealed that on the perceived effectiveness in terms of case resolution, there is a high level of effectiveness on the case resolution of the Katarungang Pambarangay. There is a very- high level of effectiveness on the settlement satisfaction of the participants and Katarungang Pambarangay 's promptness.
